Product Labeling

CDS labels every pallet entering its facilities with its own pallet label; this label serves as a 'license plate' for inventory control system information. Clients and consignees, however, may have specific requirements regarding product labeling, and CDS can easily accommodate these.

Client Labeling

CDS can incorporate client pallet labels in addition to -- or as a replacement for -- the standard CDS label. (Client labels must meet specific bar-code requirements to replace the standard CDS label).

Consignee Labeling

Labels required for specific consignees -- for example, the UCC-128 bar-code as a companion to the Advance Ship Notice (856) EDI document -- can be placed upon inventory allocated for orders to those consignees using specific consignee guidelines.
